Tearing Down A Wall

Before and After

We hated that our kitchen seemed so closed off. While having a big pantry was nice, we felt that the overall kitchen was tight. We decided to tear down the wall that made the pantry larger while still leaving a good sized one.

We failed to take a good before photo. But as you can see by the pictures. We opened the space up immensely. We had to move some wiring so that meant wehad to fix punch some holes in the wall. But now we have outlets where there were some switches and lights before. We plan on redoing the entire kitchen someday with new floor, cabinets and countertops. Until then, this set up works just fine. We also bought a couple new appliances to replace the ones that didn't work when we bought the house. The original refridgerator leaked in the water dispenser and then our stove, well that thing blew up somewhere in the electrical panel of the stove. So we are set on those, just need a dishwasher to match.
