It's electric!

During the inspection, the inspector noted that outlets were all a bit loose and needed to be replaced eventually. So we finally got around to doing it, so along with those old outlets, we replaced those nasty light switches. (Don't you ever wonder who touched them? Ew) Along with the switches and outlets, we replaced the light fixtures in most of the house and installed track lighting in the kitchen.

Doing this doesn't require an electrician, anybody can do it. As long as you have the time and daylight. Make sure of course, your power is off. We used these handy diagrams to hook up everything. Another tip, remember how you unhooked it and hook it back up exactly like that. Once you do a few, it becomes second nature.

Replacing the switches and outlets made the rooms look fantastic. Who knew?!

Installing the other lights in the house was even easier, removed the old scones and replaced with some really nice but inexpensive light fixtures. Same wiring as all other electrical. First one took some time, last three rooms took 15 minutes. Even replaced our front porch light with cute little lamp.
