The WoMAN's Cave

You don't need to be a man to have a man cave. This room took some time to decide the color scheme. We wanted a cozy pub/pool hall feel. We decided that the lighter paint we already had would be perfect along the upper portion of the wall separated by a white chair rail and a darker red below. To make the theme complete, we painted the beams in the ceiling a brown and the other part a stark white to contrast. It turned out better than we could have hoped for.

It took some time to find our mount entertainment center, we originally found one online we liked, but after some complications with the seller, we started looking elsewhere. Who knew it was under our nose the entire time, we took a trip to our local IKEA, where we found this thing. We were able to mount it and cut holes in the back and hide all the wiring behind the wall in our storage area.

Soon we began decorating our room, we found a a dart board on sale and a poker/bumper pool table on Craigslist. The pictures that later came were found in a variety of places, online and in local outlet stores.
